High Court Denies Appeals on School Integration Reviews
The Supreme Court denied appeals in three school integration cases. Rulings grimly limit desegregation efforts, denying certification for higher education eligibility, California and Delaware desegregation plans, and Arkansas National Guard injunction challenges. Also refused review of two other cases, while agreeing to hear Abel spy conviction and other legal actions.
