Local man killed at work at Fox Chevrolet shooting
A former Fox Chevrolet employee Wilton Reed killed two people at the Baltimore County dealership before turning the gun on himself. Fox Chevrolet general manager William Bishop 46 of Middletown died after being shot in his office. Police say Reed, 25, who had been fired Tuesday, opened fire in the service area injuring other staff including service manager David Laird 35 and mechanic Robert Daughton 38 who were hospitalized. Neighbors remember Bishop as a “great guy” as investigators process the grisly incident.

J Milton Brunk dies at 85 long-time civic leader
J Milton Brunk 85 retired businessman and civic leader of Braddock Heights died Friday morning October 12 at Metro Health Medical Center Cleveland while visiting family. Born November 14 1904 in Harrisonburg Virginia he helped found Frederick Produce Company Inc in the 1930s and remained active as adviser to Frederick Produce and chairman of the Dan-Dee Restaurant Inc board. He served First Baptist Church as deacon emeritus treasurer and aide to the financial secretary and on its board at his death.
