Edgar Welty, about 21, of near Creagers town, adjudged guilty of rape by Judge Glenn H. Worthington. He received two and a half years on each of three charges, to run concurrently in the Maryland House of Correction. Dorothy Wassler, under 14, testified. The July offense prompted the verdict. Other youths in Hagerstown faces sentencing for larceny of auto tire, tube, and rim.

Naval dirigible forced to land at Lakehurst

Three Mail Pouches Stolen From Cumberland Station
