Frederick city officials warn downtown drivers that Market Street from Citizen's Way to Seventh Street closes 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. for In The Street. Middletown opens registration for its first referendum on three annexation proposals. About 20 to 40 people have registered so far, with a turnout expected Oct 26. The town of 1,804 residents previously saw a council vote approving the annexations despite public opposition.
