Miss Gina Grimes Joins Regional March of Dimes Teen Board
Frederick County teenager Miss Gina Grimes was named teen board member at a regional Washington DC meeting held Sept 28 29. Grimes 17 active with MOD since childhood, daughter of Kenneth and wife in Mountaindale, MD, and FBLA member who organized a Bowl-a-thon benefiting MOD in January. Tammy Patterson 1976 National Poster Child for MOD attended. the event highlighted support for the organization and children born with birth defects in Mount Pleasant Tennessee and nearby communities.

Car wash to aid Frederick CF chapter
The Youth Group of the First Baptist Church of Frederick sponsors a car wash at J C Penney Auto Center in Frederick Towne Mall on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 30 p.m. Cars will be waxed on request and all proceeds go to the Frederick Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
