Cumberland Man Sentenced For Robbery Involving Toy Gun
A 26 year old Cumberland man received four years in Maryland Penitentiary after pleading guilty to taking part in the robbery of a Baltimore taxi driver with a toy pistol. In a separate case, Charles James Moser, 20, of near New Midway, was given 18 months for breaking and entering the home of widow Gertrude Mae West. The trials were held in Circuit Court before Judge Patrick M. Schnauffer.

Girl And Her Three Brothers Die In Fire
In Fenton Michigan a girl and three of her brothers died in a house fire. Trenton State professor among dead in New York theater bus crash
