A 2 year-old Bartonsville resident was sentenced to eight years in the House of Correction for beating and robbing a 50-year-old county resident on August 4 near Bartonsville. The victim, Mr. Hudson, was severely beaten and hospitalized days later. West admitted the assault and robbery, saying he “goes crazy” when drinking.
