Dickerson Group Wins Prizes at Montgomery Parade
Dickerson U M C V F C won multiple prizes at the Montgomery county convention parade in Glen Echo on October 1. The Ladies Marching Unit earned a trophy as the best appearing unit and the firemen received trophies for the back-up contest and for winning the first aid contest. The WSCS met with ten members, planning next month’s meeting. Mr and Mrs Donald Robertson visited, as did the Di Janardo family. The Ladies Marching Unit held a buffet supper for their uniform fund, and three Clarksburg Charge congregations scheduled services at Germantown church.
