Damascus PTA opens 1955 56 term with 350 in attendance
The Damascus Parents Teachers Association held its first meeting of the 1955-56 year at Damascus High School. President Mrs. Roscoe Buxton led the session with about 350 attendees. Rev Leon Dage gave the invocation, Cub Scout Pack 777 led by Roger Burdette conducted the flag salute and presented a Robin Hood skit. Principals Hoover and Glime introduced new faculty members and asked for continued support.
