Thurmonts 3.7 million wastewater plant nearing completion
Thurmont town officials led by town superintendent William Rice report progress on the 3.7 million wastewater plant project. Dallas Contractors won the July bid amid six years of planning and multiple permit changes from EPA and state agencies. Completion is hoped for October 1983 despite delays and rising costs.
