Rural zoning fight stalls mobile home plan near Poolesville
In Montgomery County two rural communities Jerusalem and Jonesville face a postponed vote on a zoning change to legalize 19 existing mobile homes across 152 acres. Opponents fear tax hikes and a trailer park outcome, while proponents cite a sewer project funded by federal and state money. The council will accept written testimony until Oct 16 with a work session set for Oct 19.
