Four members of the Free State Cluster Bike Club rode across Washington County dbg to Williamsport, Shepherdstown, and Keedysville on a 9 mile climb filled Saturday with cave cooling and a return to Frederick. The feature covers routes, lunch at Red Byrd, Crystal Grottoes, Antietam Battlefield, and a climb back over Braddock Mountain into Middletown Valley. The piece promotes the September Century Ride with a 65 mile Starner’s Dam trip and a 63 mile northern loop to Fairplay, Pa. and a 37 mile southern loop to Point of Rocks, with maps, patches, and a 7 am start.
