Convicted in auto fatality Roger Bundy, 29, of Washington, found guilty in Circuit Court this morning of manslaughter by motor vehicle. Bundy fined 500 dollars and given suspended 60 days by Chief Judge Patrick M. Schnauffer for a crash on U S 15 near Frederick December 16, 1961 that killed Austin Bowers Gross. Jury heard witnesses about lane positions and the truck’s impact. Bundy’s jail time suspended due to 56 days already served. court also hearing bastardy charge against Andrew Sewell and a motor vehicle case from Magistrate’s Court.
