Arthritis self help course begins Oct 12 in Frederick
Mary Alice Rand will teach a six week self help course for arthritis sufferers at the Arthritis Foundation in Frederick beginning Friday Oct 12 at 12 30 pm. Pre registration is under way at the Commission on Aging 520 N Market St with a 15 dollar fee including the textbook. Physician consent is required and class size is limited to 15. The Memory Walk Committee of the Alzheimer's Association Frederick County Chapter plans a half day Fun n Fund on Sunday Oct 7. Registration opens 12:30 p.m. at Church of the Brethren Frederick with a 1:30 p.m. start for 1 and 5 mile routes. Proceeds aid the local Alzheimer’s Association.
