Local police probe four weekend thefts netting over 9000 dollars in cash and merchandise. Maryland Gun Exchange on U S 40 West lost 24 guns and accessories worth about 5000. Other losses include 3500 safe cracking at Peoples Drug Store, 500 telephone cable, and 250 plywood. At least 12 pistols eight rifles and four shotguns taken. Thieves used rear wall opening and car to flee. No suspects yet.
