Study finds movies and kids shows drive TV violence image
UCLA analysts say theatrical films on network TV and Saturday morning children’s programs contribute most to TV violence perception. Of 118 films studied, about 42 percent raised violence concerns, with examples like Marked for Death. The report also cites sinister combat violence in X-Men and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, stressing context and consequences.
