Foreman writes novel on TV era titled The Hot Half Hour
Robert L. Foreman, a vice president at Batten, Barton, Durstine & Osborn, has written a novel about the television business. Published by Criterion, The Hot Half Hour marks his departure to fiction after years shaping TV programming and advertising. Foreman framed the work as a long weekend project, completed in longhand on yellow sheets while juggling his consulting and travel, expressing pride in its entertaining, non Tolstoyan aim.
