Would-be carjacker nabbed after Oakland chase
In Oakland California a suspect using a light and a badge tried to stop young men for carjackings near his home. Police tracked the vehicle from a San Leandro accent to a blue Pontiac Grand Am and found five stolen cars. Prentess Jackson was arrested but not named as a participant.

Robber Robs Gas Station Then Vanishes Into Cornfield
A gas station at US 15 and Sundays Lane was robbed Sunday evening. The intruder entered the store at 7:33 PM from a cornfield, wearing black clothing a mask with eye slits gloves and carrying a weapon. Clerks fled as the suspect escaped back into the cornfield at 7:34 PM. A county sheriff’s team K-9 units and Maryland State Police scoured the area without finding the suspect. The man is described as about 5 feet 10 inches tall. Police solicit any information contact 301 660 Sig.
