New HIV clinic opens at Frederick County Health Dept
A new HIV clinic begins at Frederick County Health Department to provide physical exams and referrals for infected individuals. Six clients received confidential services. the clinic runs 8:30 a.m. on Thursdays through March at 350 Montevue Lane. The program targets Frederick County and northern Montgomery County residents, with eligibility for those who have HIV but no or minor symptoms. Health insurance and Medicaid cover visits, with a federal Title I Ryan White CARE Act grant of 60,742 dollars funding one morning per month through March.
