Circuit Court Arraignments Set For Monday

Funeral services for Edward F. Smouse, 48, longtime Frederick Office manager for the Maryland Department of Employment Security, will be held in Oakland. He died Thursday at Frederick Memorial Hospital from natural causes. Smouse, son of Frank and Lois Fraley Smouse, lived at 4 Columbia Court, Rockville, and had served as Frederick office manager since February 1967 after moving from Oakland in Garrett County. He was a vestryman at Matthews Episcopal Church and a member of Proctor Kildon Post 71, American Legion.
