Swearing In Of Officials May Be Late
Most Frederick county officials elected in November are to begin four year terms tomorrow but arrival of commissions from the Governor's office will determine if swearing in occurs. If commissions fail to arrive, old officeholders serve until successors qualify, affecting county commissioners who face a party switch. The outgoing board conducts late day tours on roads, while several re elected officials start new terms. Budgets for Education and Welfare show updates. Welfare to return unspent funds. Elections set to install voting machines at about 1500000.
