Woman Draws Term For Life

Lorainneé Eaton Clark, 28, of Amesbury, mother of three, pleaded guilty to second degree murder in the slaying of her husband Melvin W. Clark Jr., 29, at their Amesbury Lake Attitash home. She received a mandatory life sentence with parole eligibility in 15 years, after prosecutors urged a first degree finding but the court accepted the plea. The husband’s body was found weeks after his disappearance, with multiple gunshot and stab wounds, later disposed of by being thrown from a bridge into the Merrimack River.
