Humane Society and county discuss animal control plan
The Frederick County Humane Society met at Winchester Hall on November 20 with Commissioner Sterling Bollinger and James Bryan Sr. fielding questions. They debated centralizing animal control, shelter funding, rabies hold times, and new ordinances. The group visited other centers, discussed euthanasia methods, and elected officers including Avalon Orris as president and Ray Smith as second vice president.
