Frederick Planning Panel OKs Shopping Center Expansion
The Frederick City Planning Commission approved and recommended to the Board of Aldermen expanding the Frederick Shopping Center by adding four or more acres of Shopping Center zoning adjacent to the north end. The plan shifts parking to accommodate a larger complex and funds the freeway exit impact. Also on the agenda were proposals from Brosius Homes for a garden apartment project on Trout Farm land and Twin Creek Corporation’s resubdivision plans for Rock Creek lands to create two large apartment building lots.
