Frederick Chamber Issues Three Page History Sketch
The Frederick Chamber of Commerce has prepared a three page mimeographed historical sketch of Frederick City and Frederick County. Executive secretary Joseph F Rhoderick notes many school children and even distant adults request information about local industries and historic sites, with examples from Virginia and Connecticut. The pamphlet covers Revolutionary War sites Barbara Fritchie and Trinity Chapel, Civil War ties to Braddock Heights and the Monocacy, and local figures like Taney and Key.
