State Files Suit Against Grove Co for condemnation
The State Roads Commission enters condemnation in 10 Circuit Court against M. J. Grove Lime Company for property on the east south leg of the Frederick by pass including a concrete block plant and storage yard. It seeks 5.88 acres in fee simple 1.83 acres in slope drainage easements and 17 of an acre for stream changes with title to part of East South street. This is the largest by pass condemnation yet and no fair value payment was put in court.
