Minutes of Merriness Teasing at Matinee Mischief

Thanksgiving Prayer and Local Church Advertising Effort
The current verse offers a multi stanza prayer of thanks to God for nature and human virtue, credited to Mildred Cain. A Cleveland plan mobilizes about 200 Protestant churches to cooperate in a citywide advertising drive to boost congregations. The Federated Churches secretary Ke Wright reviews the plan, following Pastor Bustard’s prior ads for the Hulcud Avenue Baptist Church, which drew a 1000 Sunday morning crowd, and connections to Rockefeller family. Also reported are notes on a Young People Branch meeting of the Frances Hetzler group with songs and a Benjamin Franklin biography talk, plus a December 1 social invitation. Real estate news mentions W. Jolliffe selling property for Mrs. Alfred Belt to John N. Clary, who plans to move to Frederick and sell his Liberty area farm.
