Two Killed In State Highway Accidents
Maryland highway accidents on Thanksgiving Day killed Paul Holmes, 39, of Hagerstown, and George L. Arbogast, 26, of Cumberland. Holmes died when their car left Ritchie highway near Annapolis and rolled over down a grass median. Holmes's wife Linda was injured. midshipmen Steven Schoen and David Ghysels, brothers of the Holmes family, were unharmed after being taken to the Naval Academy for observation. Arbogast died in a separate wreck seven miles west of Cumberland on Route 36 where Miss Arlene Whetzel was treated for injuries.
