Light rain failed to lift water reserves in many areas as cool, cloudy weather continued. Forecasters expect seasonably cooler conditions with a chance of mountain snow flurries, while Fishing Creek remains about 15 to 16 feet below spillway top despite recent rainfall. A separate AP tally shows varied rainfall across the Northeast and notes a murder trial in Cleveland entering its sixth week amid new inmate testimony.
