Optimism from a Clipping and Local Volunteer Calls
Frederick readers are urged to help with local programs, including Cystic Fibrosis volunteer drives, amid a cascade of notes from a Gwinnett Daily News clipping. A photo of a mother kissing her baby spurred CF awareness and a push for early diagnosis, while other items report a ribbon cutting at Citizens Nursing Center and a Parks and Recreation meeting in Frederick County. The column includes humorous notes, a cartoon about aluminum siding, and community notices on bed capacity, public tours, and a charity sale at New Windsor Service Center.
