Youth charged in slaying of mother in Frederick City
An 11 year old Freder ick City youth, Timothy V Stambaugh, was arrested and charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder over the October killing of his mother Ruth A Stambaugh. His father Marshall V Stambaugh also died from shotgun wounds in an apparent murder suicide. Timothy allegedly aided his father by misdirecting his mother to the home. The youth is held at Frederick County Jail awaiting a bond hearing.

Raymond Brehaut, Frederick Gas founder, dies at 47
Raymond C Brehaut, former Frederick Gas Co owner and developer, died Monday at Frederick Memorial Hospital at age 47. Born in Massachusetts January 4, he was son of the late James T and Agnes R Prouse Brehaut. He was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church, led Sunday school, and belonged to Lynch Lodge 163 AF and AM, Frederick Lodge of Perfection, Chesapeake Consistory, Shrine, and Rotary. He served as trustee of Frederick Memorial Hospital and chaired the hospital building committee. He was predeceased by his wife Margaret Monroe Brehaut on April 17.
