Rice Budget Message To Board On November 28
Mayor Donald B. Rice will submit a budget and budget message to the Board of Aldermen at a special meeting on Wednesday November 28 at 7 30 oclock in City Hall. The charter requires a 32 day lead before January 1 for the budget and message. The board may set a public hearing date and must publish ten days prior. Final adoption must occur by December 28, with possible early action on tax rates. The board can amend the budget before final adoption. Rice is gathering department estimates. some increases are expected.

Truck Driver Is Acquitted In Court
