Extension Homemakers Clubs News from Frederick County
Educating people to help themselves is the mission of Frederick County Homemaker programs. The 1988 schedule at the Extension Service building on Monday, November 24, offers lessons led by local educators on topics like adjusting to change, bugs and mold, charting family health, beef meal planning, and car care. The ACWW links broaden the scope to global projects. New Market, Jefferson, Emmitsburg, Myersville, Lewistown, and other clubs share local history, community activities, and upcoming celebrations. Members note golden anniversaries, weekly meetings, and Christmas in the Valley plans, with volunteers collecting club records for a county-wide history.
