Frederick County Eyes Bonding And Wetlands Bills For 1992 Session
Frederick County staff prepare legislation for the 1992 General Assembly session. Proposed measures include bonding authority for solid waste projects, and a state funded program to issue non tidal wetlands permits. The county plans two new staffers to issue permits locally once the Army Corps of Engineers hands off in two years. They also push for authority to impose impact fees, opposing a builders association proposal that would limit fees until other revenues are exhausted.
