Murdered His Father in Inprana Pa Novel Case

Leaver, who killed his father on Saturday, and tried to kill housekeeper Mary Kelly, shows no remorse. He sang and danced in his cell and claimed governors Patti son and he are both democrats, insisting they could not hang him. He is not believed insane. Kelly girl survives with hope of recovery. Testimony indicates premeditation.

Frightful West Shore wreck injures thirty workers

In Rochester on November 15 a West Shore railroad construction train derailed at seven thirty. Three box cars carrying workmen plunged down a thirty foot embankment. Dozens were injured with broken limbs and skull fractures. One man mutilated remains under wreckage. others were taken to Savannah. Cause traced to a broken journal.

Fleming Arrested for Mail Fraud in Biswaney

John Fleming of the Fleming and Merriais firm, Chicago, was arrested here by a post office inspector on an indictment in U S court for using the mails for fraudulent purposes.
