Frederick County Sets Low Non-Delinquency Court Total
Frederick County reported only two non delinquency Juvenile Court cases last year, the lowest in Maryland, with 2.3 percent of the state population. Judge Patrick M. Schnauffer credited Mrs. William C. Roderick for out of court settlements and informal hearings. The Maryland Juvenile Court Report notes 4,957 such cases statewide in 1963.

Mayor Magaha Speaks at Veterans Day Ceremonies

Pilot Lands Jet Dies In Cockpit
A BOAC Boeing 707 with 64 passengers from England landed safely at Kennedy Airport before the pilot Kazimierz Fraser, 50, collapsed and died in the cockpit. Copilot Michael King described the landing as beautiful. Fraser suffered a heart attack while crew members administered oxygen. Fraser, a Polish Army member who fled to England, later served as a Royal Air Force fighter pilot.

Scholarships Set For West Frederick Examinations
Examinations at West Frederick Junior High on November 21 will award six teacher education scholarships and six general tuition scholarships from the state. Senator Derr funds 15 State Senatorial Scholarships for graduates and seniors. include Hood College, St Johns College, Morgan State, Peabody Institute and Charlotte Hall. Hutchinson, Reds Manager, Dies of Chest Cancer at 45
Fred Hutchinson former manager of the Cincinnati Reds died early today in a Bradenton Florida hospital at age 45 after a battle with chest cancer. He stepped down Oct 19 and Dick Sisler became acting manager after Hutchinson began sick leave Aug 13. Hutchinson had recently been allowed to return home to Anna Maria Island before his condition worsened.
