Mrs. Lugenia Jennie Horine of Myersville dies from complications linked to an auto accident last Wednesday evening on the Middletown Myersville road. Her husband John H. Horine remains hospitalized. She leaves two daughters, five grandchildren, and is survived by her parents in Myersville. Second Accident In One Day In Same Area
A minor crash occurred near the North Market Street Pike around 2:10 PM Tuesday when Morris E. Renner 17 Thurmont Route 1 drove north and, upon seeing flashing red blinker lights near the railroad crossing, spun into a ditch causing minor damage to the signal post and his car. Police reported no injuries and charged none. the wet road contributed to the mishap.
