Walkersville moves on annexation study approval
Walkersville Planning and Zoning Commission and burgess discussed the Walkersville Joint Annexation Limits Study Report at a Wednesday workshop. The plan outlines maximum annexation areas, a concept to align town and county land use, and a policy for future growth with joint review and notice duties for subdivisions and rezonings. The town and county expect votes in November, with the agreement gaining weight when incorporated into the county plan.
