Preservation artisans trade tricks of the trades

More than 370 preservation artisans gathered Thursday for a three day workshop in Frederick sponsored by the Historic Preservation Training Center and Preservation Trades Network. H Thomas McGrath described collaborative learning, detailing seminars on scaffolding safety wood shingles masonry without mortar and historical techniques. The event ends Friday at the Weinberg Center with hopes for a repeat in the future.
