No Exchange Of Students At Frederick High School
Frederick High School will not exchange visiting students with any other community for social study this year. Principal Harry O. Smith said two exchanges were successful, but the faculty group decided the time and effort of teachers and administrators would be better used elsewhere. No spring exchanges are planned though he believed the idea might have worked. Senior students who supported the program protested via the student league, noting fund raising by seniors produced about 1200 dollars for prior exchanges. Leading citizens and parents favored retaining the program, calling it highly regrettable that interchange of locales and experiences is suspended.
