Woman Drowns Two Daughters Then Drowns Self at Wilmington Pier
Irene Stopka thirty living on Claymount street took her five and seven year old daughters to the Wilmington Yacht Club grounds on the Delaware river and threw them into the river. Both were drowned. She later jumped in but reached a launch and was found exhausted. She claims domestic trouble over money. Police seek the other girl's body while a doll umbrella and schoolbook are found on the pier.
