Maryland bill seeks 150000 for jail improvements
Senator Edward D Storm introduces a bill during the Maryland Legislature special session to appropriate 150000 to the Board of Public Works. The funds would cover one fourth of jail improvement costs in counties including Frederick. An amendment to the Hospital Bill proposes using surplus sales tax revenue for indigent care at Frederick Memorial and other hospitals.
