Emmitsburg Library Celebrates 75 Years Of Service
Emmitsburg marks its 75th anniversary of the public library with a Sunday 2 to 4 p.m. program at the old Exo School location. The event honors past and present library boards and librarians as the library, evolving since 1906, reflects on nine addresses, growth from under 100 volumes to over 10 000, and a mission to endure another 75 years while showcasing local authors and historic fire maps.
