New York Fashion Week shifts to Bryant Park tents
The semi annual Fashion Week unfolds in 7th on Sixth spaces at Bryant Park and the New York Public Library. About 2,590 seats, 30 foot tents, and 25 more shows elsewhere anchor the event. CFDA led by Fern Mallis says capacity may grow next year. Designers include Calvin Klein Ralph Lauren Donna Karan Anne Klein Oscar de la Renta Bill Blass Geoffrey Beene. Models such as Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss feature, with pay scales for supermodels outlined and corporate sponsors covering costs exceeding 1 million dollars.
