A man identified as Joseph Samuel Polinger was flown by state police helicopter to Washington County Hospital in Hagerstown after a serious I-70 crash near Myersville. He remained in critical condition in the ICU Saturday morning. preliminary reports say the vehicle veered off the highway, careened down an embankment, and the driver was ejected while investigators led by Michael Kretzer looked into the incident.
