Community Notes From Creagerstown and Thurmont
Creagerstown and Thurmont rural community items note visits and family ties. Mrs Myrtle Hubbard visits relatives in Howard County and Lintsham while Amy Sowers of Towson stays with sisters. Local events include Memorial Day observances, church confirmations, and parish activities. A bus trip to Amish country is described with stops at Wheatland and Landis Valley. The 225th anniversary planning for St John’s church begins June 10.
