LIDIE RETURNED TO COUNTY AFTER SERVING SENTENCE

Calvin Lidie Jr, a local man, was brought to the county jail by State Trooper Ridge after completing seven of eight months for grand larceny, sentenced last November 1948. He will stand trial in September for grand larceny and receiving stolen goods from another case, and awaits further court action for a $40 theft and a station fire last fall.
