Warm southerly flow ahead for Maryland weekend forecast
A high pressure system offshore drives warmer humid air into Maryland with a southerly breeze for Friday and Saturday. Western Maryland counties expect partly cloudy skies and mild nights, highs near 80 to 85, with scattered thundershowers. Ocean beaches remain warm and humid with late showers, then clearing and cooling Sunday. Farther, soils show ongoing moisture deficit despite recent rain. David Lesher.
