Jefferson woman dies in accident on I-270 south of Md 45
A Jefferson woman, 1985 Dodge Daytona driver, died Wednesday morning after her car drifted off the northbound I-270 shoulder near Md 45. The vehicle rode an embankment, flipped, and threw her from the car. A Maryland State Police helicopter took her to Washington County Hospital in Hagerstown where she died of trauma. There were no passengers.
