State Comptroller Announces Income Tax Revenue Distribution
Louis L. Goldstein said 1,018,784.13 in delinquent income tax funds are being shared with Baltimore City and 23 Maryland counties plus most municipalities. Frederick county receives 13,826.94, Montgomery 193,607.90, Carroll 6,948.46, Washington 17,423.94, and Howard 10,880.17 with portions to counties and towns. Major distribution from 1963 returns is pending mid June, after 23,792,222.50 was paid in 1962-63.

A $5 000 to $6 000 project to change the fronts of two buildings at 100 and 102 East Patrick street to Colonial style began today. Owners Mr John R Cheatham and Mrs Cheatham, with Mr Cheatham also president of Key Chevrolet, say the Colonial fronts will cover both storefronts and be finished in four weeks. C&P Plans 850000 Mount Airy Dial Service Project
The Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Co. Board approves an 850000 project to convert Mt. Airy to dial service by late 1965. Budget includes 100000 for a new building, 565000 for central office equipment, 150000 for cables and outside plant, and 35000 for station conversion. Construction starts August and finishes next May. Mt. Airy currently has 1378 customers and 1791 phones. Operators will be reassigned. Middletown is also converting to dial service.

City Taking Bids On Sidewalks
